MICHAL KERN biography
1938 born on May 1st in Žilina
1956 – 1962 studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava (prof. Ján Mudroch, department of figural painting)
1963 first solo exhibition in Liptovský Mikuláš (commissary Rudolf Chmel)
1964 first participations in collective exhibitions - (MS Martin and OG PMB Liptovský Mikuláš)
1969 the first event in Vysoké Tatry
1974 – 1976 active participation in Symposion II and III
1981 solo exhibition in Ostrava-Orlová - (commissary Ivo Janoušek)
1981 - 1984 active participation in Terén II – IV (Terrain II – IV)
1992 March 3rd, suffered a severe injury
1994 October 1st, died of the injury consequences, buried in Močiare, in a garden next to his father, painter Peter Július Kern
